01 / OVERVIEW
Overview
PureDb implements an embedded file database in C# and the .NET standard library. Separate KV and SQL APIs provide parameterized queries, JOINs, JSON, transactions, and ADO.NET. An optional compatibility package reads and writes supported SQLite files in place, with documented SQL, transaction, and file-protocol boundaries.

An optional managed SQLite file-compatibility library
03 / POSSIBILITIES
Ideas to explore
- Explore embedded storage for local tools and desktop apps
- Query structured and JSON data through SQL or ADO.NET
- Study managed database internals, transactions, and file compatibility
04 / GET STARTED
Getting started
Before you begin
- A .NET 10 development environment
- Review the preview's SQL and transaction support
- Check compatibility and back up data before opening SQLite files
Get the project
dotnet add package PureDb --prereleaseNext steps
- Install the preview package and distinguish the separate KV and SQL files.
- Start with parameterized queries, table creation, and transaction examples.
- Install the optional compatibility package only when you need supported SQLite file access.
05 / SCOPE & STATUS
Current boundaries
Currently a preview. SQL and SQLite file compatibility have explicit limits. Full SQLite SQL and the WAL file protocol are not supported.
